4 cups of onion wedges
1 cup of water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/4 cup of finely diced green pepper
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Cover it tightly and simmer over medium heat for 25 minutes.

= 5 servings (yield: 2 & 1/2 cups)
1 serving = 1/2 cup
1 serving = 1 vegetable/fruit

g carbohydrate = 3
g dietary fiber = 0.3
g fat - total = 3
mg cholestrol = 0
mg sodium = 371

*NOTE* Low sodium diets can omit salt and use a low sodium chicken bouillon cube.
