6 beef bouillon cubes
5 cups of boiling water
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cups of sliced onion rings
6 small rounds of melba toast
3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add Worcestershire sauce and onion rings.
Cover and simmer gently for 25-30 minutes.
Serve in warmed bowls with 1 melba toast round plus 1 & 1/2 teaspoons of Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of each.
= makes 6 servings (yield: 6 cups)
