6 cups of Crispix cereal
1 cup of mixed nuts or peanuts
1 cup of pretzels
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon of onion salt
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Combine the cereal, nuts and pretzels in a 13x9" baking pan or roasting pan. Set this aside.
Stir together the remaining ingredients. Drizzle over the cereal mixture, gently tossing it until evenly coated.
Bake this at 250 degrees F. for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool. Store in an airtight container or put in decorative bags like I did for the "Maple Snack Mix"
Microwave instructions: In a large microwavable bowl combine the cereal, nuts and pretzels. Stir together the remaining ingredients. Drizzle over the cereal mixture, gently tossin until evenly coated. Microwave at HIGH for 4 minutes, stirring after each minute to prevent burning. Cool then store in airtight containers or put in decorative cello bags for gift giving.
If you wish to send this to someone on a sodium reduced diet then use 1/8 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder instead and purchase unsalted nuts and pretzels.
